Tomorrow will be the big day to all of the Muslim here. So I want to take this chance to wish all my Muslim friends, ukm students and gmukm supporters out there, a very blessed and joyous Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Selamat Hari Raya. Maaf Zahir Batin.
To those others, I also like to wish you having a great holiday break and enjoy visiting your Muslim friends.
Hari Raya Aidilfitri (also Hari Raya Puasa, literally "Fasting Day of Celebration") is the Malay term for the Muslim festival of Eid ul-Fitr. Hari Raya is also known as Eid-Mubarak. Muslims in Malaysia celebrate Eid like other Muslims throughout the world. The celebration is determined by sighting of the new moon on the day. before the next month on the Muslim calendar, Syawal. Instead of, the term "Hari Raya" literally means "Day of Celebration.
Hari Raya marks the end of Ramadhan, which is the holy month of fasting. This is a joyous occasion for the Muslims in Malaysia. It is also an occasion to seek forgiveness for past sins.
Normally, the UKM campus will be deserted during this festive period. Most of the students will take this opportunity to return to their hometowns to spend quality time with family and friends. This is known as ‘ Balik Kampung’ in Malay language. Hope everyone is having a safe trip home and reunion with the family, InsyaALLAH.
The main greeting used by Muslims in Malaysia is "maaf zahir dan batin" which translates loosely to "I seek forgiveness (from you) physically and spritually", for Hari Raya is a time to reconcile and renew relationships with others. Overall, Hari Raya Puasa is a joyous occasion for the Muslims and non-Muslims in Malaysia.
Again, Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir and Batin. Hope we still have long live to enjoy the next ramadhan.I just want to say Happy lebaran for all muslim in the Malaysia actually, and in UKM especially. Happy Hari Raya and a great time spent with family and friends. Wassalam. United To Change..

fuh,bagos la chairman GM.aku suker.nak sokong GM la.bleh speak english......tp bukan ker UKM ni memartabatkan bahasa melayu?and korg gak yg membantah bagai nak rak PPSMI.owh,penting gak bahasa inggeris ni rupernyer.maknernyer korg lain yg cakap,lain yg dibuat la...owh....BTW saper yg check grammar..hehee
come on la bro.. its not a big issue he wrote in english. malays r still malay when they speak english. doesnt mean u under grades the bahasa melayu when u speak english. this has nothng 2 do with menggadaikan bahasa melayu bro

PPSMI itu sbnrnye satu cr utk menjdikan ngra kita mengikut era globalisasi YANG perlu kiranya ana TEKANKAN KEMBALI,bhwa ppsmi sbnrnye telah bny mengundang kecundangan pelajar dlm mnguasai sains dan matematik.Mintak maaf jika ana menggunakan ruang yang agak pnjg,kerana ana rasa penting bg ana menjelaskan dengan terang bagi mereka yang agak lmbt utk memahami, terutama utk saudara penakut yang telah mengeluarkan perkataan kesat seperti babi di atas tadi.Penakut yang hanya mengguna nama anonymous supaya tidak dikenali.TAkpe, ALLAH MAHA MELIHAT.Hu...salam.
ish...perkataan "babi" digunakan..tak mencerminkan keperibadian mahasisiwa langsung..BUDI BAHASA BUDAYA KITA...tak guna belajar tinggi2..ni mesti budak bermasalah kat sekolah dulu...masuk u pun nasib2 je kot??sorry komen agak lazer skit..ak sokong kenyataan hamba allah...

poster ni tibe2 de kat wallpaper setiap komputer kat dewan kuliah. padahal pelajar tak dibenarkan menggunakannya. mslhnye cmne leh dapat password tu. ni la org kte kononnye nk perjuangkan kebenaran tp rela menggunakan jalan yg xbetol (haram la mksudnye).
